Full truckload · Europe

When the whole truck is worth it

FTL is the answer when you have volume and want delivery without delay. The truck is dedicated to your load, on an optimised route between the two addresses.

The difference from groupage is not only price, it is the journey: the goods pass through no hubs, and are not unloaded and reloaded on the way. Less handling means fewer chances of damage and a deadline you can rely on.

What we cover

What a full truckload includes

One truck, one journey, one point of contact.

Dedicated truck

The trailer belongs to your cargo. Nothing else is loaded beside it and nothing is rearranged on the way.

Direct run

From the loading address to the unloading address, with no intermediate hubs and no waiting for a run to fill.

Predictable deadline

Without consolidation and deconsolidation stages, the duration follows distance and driving hours, not how full a scheduled run is.

No handling in between

The goods are loaded once and unloaded once. Fewer handling steps mean less risk of damage.

CMR insurance

Every run travels under CMR cover; for high-value goods you can add insurance at declared value.

GPS tracking

See where the truck is throughout, without having to call and ask.

How it works

From quote to unloading

With no consolidation stages, the journey has fewer points where something can slip.

  1. 01

    Quote

You give us the route, the type of cargo and the tonnage, and the price appears instantly in the platform.

  2. 02

    Assigning the truck

We settle the tonnage and body type that suit, and book the run for the agreed date.

  3. 03

    Loading

The truck comes to your address, the cargo is loaded once and secured for the road.

  4. 04

    Direct transport

No consolidation stops. You can follow the truck throughout.

  5. 05

    Unloading

Delivery to the consignee's address, with confirmation and signed documents.

The fleet

Which vehicle suits the load

A full truck does not have to mean 40 tonnes. We pick the tonnage to fit the cargo, not the other way round.

  • Curtain-sided or box van — up to 3.5 t

For general cargo and parcels, in urban distribution and fast deliveries.

Licensed for 3.5 tonnes, so it reaches places large trucks cannot.

  • Curtain-sided or box truck — up to 7.5 t

For heavier or bulkier goods: industrial equipment, construction materials.

It gets into hard-to-reach areas where a semi-trailer cannot manoeuvre.

  • Curtain-sided or box truck — 7.5 to 40 t

For heavy, bulky loads over long distances, containers included.

The standard configuration: 33 euro pallets, 24 tonnes payload, 13.6 m of usable length.

FTL or LTL

The two regimes, side by side

Groupage wins on price, a full truck on speed and control. Below 10 pallets groupage is almost always cheaper, because you only pay for the space you take.

Above that, or when the deadline is tight, the price gap narrows and the dedicated truck arrives considerably sooner.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions about full truckload

What does FTL mean?

Full Truckload — the truck is dedicated to your cargo. It is not consolidated with another customer's freight, it runs straight from the loading address to the unloading address, and the price is per run rather than per space taken.

When is a full truck better than groupage?

Below 10 pallets, groupage is almost always cheaper, because you only pay for the space you take. Above that, or when the deadline is tight, the dedicated truck arrives sooner and the price gap narrows. The checker at the top of the page shows where you land.

How many pallets fit in a truck?

The standard configuration carries 33 euro pallets, 24 tonnes of payload and 13.6 m of usable length. A truck often fills on volume before it reaches its tonnage — or the other way round, with dense cargo.

Do I have to fill the truck to book FTL?

No. You pay for the run, not the space, so you can book a full truck for a partial load. People do it when the cargo cannot take intermediate handling, when the deadline is tight, or when they want nothing else loaded beside it.

What tonnages do you offer?

From a 3.5-tonne van for urban distribution, to a 7.5-tonne truck for hard-to-reach areas, up to a 40-tonne truck for long distances. We pick the tonnage to fit the cargo, not the other way round.

How long does an FTL shipment take?

It follows distance and legal driving hours, not how full a scheduled run is. Because there are no consolidation and deconsolidation stages, an FTL usually arrives considerably sooner than the same route in groupage.

Is the cargo insured?

Yes, CMR insurance is included in every run. For high-value goods we recommend additional cover at declared value, which you can select when ordering.

How do I get a price?

The price appears instantly in the platform: pick the route, the vehicle type and the cargo. For cases that need review, the team comes back with a tailored offer in under 2 hours.
