Groupage is the answer when a shipment does not fill a whole truck. Through our hubs we consolidate several customers' volumes onto the same run, so the cost per pallet drops without giving up on safety.

The journey, stage by stage
Groupage passes through consolidation and deconsolidation — that is why it takes longer than a dedicated truck, but costs considerably less.

We pick the freight up from your address and bring it to the nearest regional hub the same day.

Hub consolidation — days 1–2
The freight is checked, weighed and loaded together with other shipments heading to the same destination.

Line transport — days 2–7
The regular run between hubs, along the main European routes.

Deconsolidation — day 7
At the destination hub, shipments are separated and prepared for local delivery.

Pricing
How the price is worked out
Groupage pricing starts from the space taken — the number of standard EUR pallets, 1200×800 mm — and from the weight of the goods. The higher of actual and volumetric weight applies.
The price covers line transport, hub handling and door-to-door delivery. Supplementary services — insurance at declared value, UK customs clearance, warehousing — are charged separately.
For regular shipments we work with volume contracts at preferential rates.

Frequently asked questions about groupage transport
How long does a groupage shipment take?
It depends on the route. Door-to-door: Romania ↔ Belgium 6–7 days, Romania ↔ Germany 6–7 days, Romania ↔ Italy 6–7 days, Romania ↔ Netherlands 6–8 days, Romania ↔ France 6–8 days, Romania ↔ Spain 7–8 days, Romania ↔ United Kingdom 7–8 days, Spain ↔ Benelux 6–7 days. Line transport itself is 4–6 days; the rest is collection, consolidation and local delivery.
When is groupage better than a dedicated truck?
Below 10 pallets, groupage is almost always cheaper, because you only pay for the space you take. Above that, or when deadlines are tight, a dedicated truck (FTL) arrives faster and the price gap narrows.
Why does it take longer than a dedicated transport?
Because the freight passes through consolidation on departure and deconsolidation on arrival. A dedicated truck goes straight from loading to unloading; groupage wins on price, not on speed.
Where are your hubs?
Arad — the main gateway to and from Western Europe; Bucharest — national distribution for the south and east; Ghent — Benelux, France and Germany; Valencia — the Iberian Peninsula; London — UK operations, including post-Brexit customs.
How do customs work for the United Kingdom?
After Brexit, shipments to and from the UK require customs formalities. We handle them through the London hub, so you do not have to deal with declarations separately.
Is the cargo insured?
Yes, CMR insurance is included in every shipment. For high-value goods we recommend additional cover at declared value, which you can select when ordering.
What supplementary services are available?
